Cannabis Flower

Moreno Valley's flower rotation currently includes Blue Zushimi, Blue Dream, Pink Acai, and Mystical Gelato, with sizes starting at a gram.

Pre-Rolls

A single lets you try a strain before committing to a pack, while multi-packs make sense once you know what you want. The empty cones next to them are just paper, ready for whatever flower you choose.

Infused pre-rolls have concentrate mixed in, so expect more potency than a plain roll. Rove, Coastal Sun, and our own Cat 4 all appear here.

Vapes and Cartridges

When you're comparing vapes, check the size and what the price works out to per gram. Half-gram and full-gram carts can look very different on the shelf once you compare them on the same basis.

Format is the other question: a standalone cartridge screws onto a battery you already own, and an All-in-One has its own, charged and built in. Concentrates

Tell the budtender what you dab with at home before choosing between Bear Labs, Punch, and our own Cat 4, since a concentrate pen and a full rig don't take the same products. Potency is printed on every package.

Edibles

The mistake worth avoiding is the second dose. It can be two hours before an edible kicks in, so hold off on another piece until then.

State rules hold each serving to 10mg THC and each package to 100mg, and the per-piece figure is printed next to the pack total. Wyld, Drops, Whoa, and Froot are stocked, mostly gummies, plus some baked goods, mints, and chocolates.

Topicals and Tinctures

These are alternatives to smoking or vaping, but don't assume they're all non-intoxicating. Balms, lotions, and patches go on the skin, and formulations vary, so check the cannabinoid ratio on the label.

Tinctures are liquid, with a marked dropper for portioning; hold a dose under the tongue or mix it into something you're drinking.

Buying Cannabis Legally in California

Medical use has been legal statewide since 1996. Voters added recreational use through Proposition 64, and the first licensed recreational sales came in 2018.

For an Alessandro Boulevard visit, the rules come down to this:

• Recreational shoppers show photo ID issued by a government, with a birth date putting them at 21+. Medicinal customers 18 or older qualify with a physician's recommendation, and an MMIC from their county is welcome but not required.

• Per day, you can buy up to 28.5 grams of flower, which is one ounce, and 8 grams of concentrate. The limit rises to 8 ounces for patients holding a physician's recommendation, and higher if it specifies.

• Recreational sales aren't limited to residents; visitors get the same limits as locals. Medicinal purchases need a California-licensed physician's recommendation.

• Consume only on private property, never on a street, sidewalk, or in a park. Taking cannabis over a state line is illegal.
