A cartridge holds the oil and heating element and screws onto a battery you supply. An All-in-One puts oil and battery together in a single ready-to-use device.

Edibles

Edibles cover more than gummies. Chocolates, mints, baked goods, and cannabis drinks all count, and adult-use servings can't exceed 10mg THC, with packages capped at 100mg.

Buying Cannabis Legally in California

California has allowed medical cannabis sales since 1996, and recreational sales opened in 2018, after voters approved Proposition 64.

• Adults 21 and older can buy recreational cannabis with a government-issued photo ID. From 18, a physician's recommendation covers medicinal purchases, and a county MMIC is accepted but not required.

• Flower is limited to 28.5 grams a day, with 8 grams of concentrate. Patients with a physician's recommendation can buy up to 8 ounces of flower, and more when the recommendation names a higher amount.

• Out-of-state visitors shop under the resident rules for recreational purchases, and medicinal buyers need a recommendation written by a physician with a California license.

• Consumption has to happen on private property, and the owner can add rules of their own. Public places are off the table, and nothing can leave the state.
