The store sits at the southern end of Daly City on the Skyline Boulevard ridge, closer to the San Bruno and Pacifica lines than to the middle of town.

Skyline College is about 1.4 miles south and Serramonte Center about 1.5 miles north, so there's a college at one end of the ridge and a mall at the other. Mussel Rock Park and the coast are 1.9 miles northwest.

Further out, Colma BART is 2.4 miles north, Westlake Shopping Center 3.6 miles, and Daly City BART 3.9 miles. SFO sits 5.3 miles southeast down the 280.

Buying Cannabis Legally in California

California has allowed medical cannabis since 1996 and recreational cannabis since voters passed Proposition 64, with licensed sales opening in 2018.

Upstairs on King Drive, the rules are these:

Recreational purchases: valid government-issued photo ID, 21 or over. Medicinal purchases from 18: a valid physician's recommendation. A county-issued MMIC also qualifies, but you don't have to hold one.
You can buy an ounce of flower, 28.5 grams, plus 8 grams of concentrate in a day. Medicinal patients can reach 8 ounces, or more where the recommendation specifies a higher figure.
There's no residency test for recreational purchases, and the limits don't change for visitors. Medicinal is narrower: a California-licensed physician must make the recommendation.
Consumption belongs on private property, not on streets, sidewalks, or in parks, and cannabis can't be taken across a state line.

It's an extra pesticide screen Catalyst runs on top of the state's, built after chemicals turned up in products that had already passed California-required compliance testing. Brands opt in, passing products get a Cat 4 sticker, and anything that fails leaves the shelf whatever its sales figures look like.
