This cafe and art gallery sits on a bluff overlooking the water and is less than two miles from Catalyst at 2300 E Ocean Blvd. It’s high time more of you stoner types started to appreciate art. It’s like the adult version of watching cartoons only you make money by investing in it. Take a date here and gaze longingly into whatever painting catches your eye.
When your date asks you what you’re thinking about, just say “everything.” This is guaranteed to score you points, I’ve never seen it fail and the best part is you actually gain life skills by doing it. Take down the movie posters on your wall, everyone knows Blow is a good movie and they’ve known it since college. Spend some adult money on some artwork nobody’s seen before but before you choose what to buy, go to Catalyst. Purchase a vape cartridge and consume at least half of it on your way to the Long Beach Museum of Art.
Walk around a while. Embrace the fact that the works of art you’re squinting at took effort to produce. Admire them, think about them, then go home.
