Rockwood is some of the higher end dining in the Palm Springs area. It’s in the JW Marriot Hotel at 74855 Country Club Dr so if you’re visiting the area it’s a no-brainer to stay and eat there. All the food is locally sourced and well worth the money. It’s also right next to the pool so it’s a gorgeous place to eat around sunset. It’s the desert, after all, so it’s a great place to lounge, eat, swim, or whatever.
I was lucky enough to grab a plate here after visiting the Catalyst Palm Desert Dispensary near me and I was positively, absolutely, completely and totally rocked by how good the food was. I had the Gruyère Crusted Halibut with some Ahi Poke and by the time I was done I was left in what scientists and medical professionals can only describe as a “fish-induced coma.” The only cure, and doctors disagree with me on this, is a full bowl of the freshest sativa you can find and a long swim. Luckily I was poolside at the Rockwood and cured within an hour. I’ve been back dozens of times since and always leave fully satisfied.
