Less than a block away from the Catalyst Dispensary near me Mid City Los Angeles at 3224 Venice Blvd is Somos Oaxaca, a great little Mexican food spot frequented by our budtenders on their lunch breaks. It’s woman-owned, Latinx owned and the Tlayudas come highly recommended.

This is really some of the finest Mexican food in California. It’s almost fancier than your typical Mexican spot in that the dishes are much more creative than your typical burrito, quesadilla or taco options. I particularly must emphasize how good the birria queso tacos are. To say nothing of the Alambre Oaxaqueño would be nothing short of a mortal sin. The Tasajo Guisado is sent from above I promise you.
