Latino Art Museum – Pomona

Less than a mile from Catalyst Pomona cannabis dispensary at 281 S Thomas St is the Latino Art Museum, a local non profit showcasing works from Latino artists as well as monthly workshops and other fun events. Admission is free! Do you understand the gravity of that? You can go and look at beautiful, intricate works of art without paying a dime.

This is what the kids like to call “free game.” Learning to appreciate art is one of the best parts of being a grown-up. It’s one of the few things you can buy that appreciate over time instead of losing its value. The tricky part is learning what good art is, learning about the history of it, who the major players are and so on and so forth. That’s why places like the Latino Art Museum are so important.

They do all that work for you and charge you nothing for the information. It’s a great place to bring a date, a great place for a family outing or just a nice spot to wander through while you’re super high and just want to look at colors and shit. I’ve spent hours and hours wandering around in here and I’m always left better for the experience.
