Chef George’s Restaurant near Palm Desert

Chef George’s is a Hungarian and Italian style restaurant at 40100 Washington St #125, only a few minutes away from the Catalyst Cannabis Dispensary in Palm Desert. There’s vintage decor, a lounge with live DJ sets and other shows and the food is some of the best in the area. Knowing where the good food is takes more than a little effort. That’s why we’re here, doing the work for you. We put in the hours and tried all the bad spots so you don’t have to suffer because we smoke a ton of weed and we get hungry a lot.

I found this little gem of a watering hole completely by accident. I was having a smoke and a walk, seeing where my legs took me when I looked up and saw the sign. “What the hell,” I said. “Let’s give it a go.” I sat down and ordered the Hungarian roast pork loin with glazed apples and grand marnier. Granted, my eyes were beet red so I could barely read the menu which in this context means the munchies were intense that day. But I was floored. One of the best meals I’ve ever had and I’ve gone back once a week ever since. Chef George has what you need, you can be sure of that.
