Bump and Grind Trail – Palm Desert

This scenic 4-mile hike offers grand views of the desert on a short but challenging loop. If you’re lucky you might even see some mountain goats. It’s a short 15 minute drive from our dispensary and a great place for smoking with a view. I highly doubt that it was named after the hit R. Kelly song, that would be highly unusual. In fact, I have no idea whatsoever where they got the name so for all I know it is absolutely inspired by R. Kelly. If it is, they should probably change it. But in all seriousness it’s a trail most people can handle just fine.

The exercise will do you well. My favorite little tradition here is making it to the top and rewarding myself with a dab from the Puffco. It makes the way down so very pleasant and magical, although I’m usually asleep on the drive home. It’s a helluva way to kill an afternoon in a highly beneficial fashion for mind, body and soul. We should all hike more often than we do, and we should all smoke weed while we do it.
