Santa Ana Zoo – Santa Ana

Less than 15 minutes from our OC3 Santa Ana Cannabis Dispensary location at 1801 E Chestnut Ave is the Santa Zoo with over 350 animals on display, a train ride, petting zoo and even a ferris wheel. Your kids will love seeing all the animals and riding the animal-themed merry-go-round. Hell, even the adults might enjoy the merry-go-round. It’s a very underrated activity. However, the animals are the main attraction here.

I mean this is a proper zoo and it’s an essential part of the American experience. Sure, you can hand wring all the livelong day about animals in cages or you can go say hello to those animals in person. It might brighten their day and it will certainly brighten yours. I for one carried on an hour-long conversation with a baboon the last time I went. It very well could have been the power of the edibles I ate working a little too well but that baboon saw into my soul and I into his. It was a very meaningful moment. We understood each other on a cellular level. Then he scratched his ass and ran away but that’s an experience you can’t find on TV. Dear reader, run don’t walk.
