D’s is a cutty BBQ joint just 7 blocks away from our Normandie Ave dispensary at 7873 S Western Ave. It’s great for lunch or dinner and they’re black-owned, woman-owned and veteran-owned. Our budtenders love to eat here. It's a great spot. Proceed with caution, however.

If you are anything like me and tend to overindulge on hash rosin before eating, you may see a flash of blinding light and wake up to a pile of rib bones with no memory of consuming the pile. Yes, it is exactly that good. The sauce will have you licking your fingers like a silly drug-addled buffoon. The cornbread will make you forget your own first name.

The lobster tail will have you Googling prices of lobster boats and watching Deadliest Catch in a desperate attempt to figure out how much money you’d have to invest to have access to lobster this good all the time without going into serious credit card debt. Of course, you’ll arrive at the conclusion that it’s far easier to just keep going back to D’s as often as possible. I assure you, this food inspires greatness in all who consume it (or at the very least it’s just damn decent barbecue).
