My mother makes some of the best poke I’ve ever had, and I love my mother, but I must tell the truth here and inform all you good people that the poke here is world class. It’s rivaled only slightly by my mother’s poke and frankly, you can’t have any of hers because then there would be less available for me. But fear not, for the Marina Poke House is right there for you to patronize and enjoy to your heart’s content.

If you’ve never tried octopus, by God you just have to. It’s surprising how good it actually is when you get past the fact that you’re eating an octopus. It’s very chewy and the texture is something you have to get accustomed to but the flavor is just otherworldly and very unique. Poke in general is just such a fantastic dish but when it’s made improperly or not fresh enough it can be a disappointment. That will never be the case at this fine establishment.
