Western Science Center – Hemet

About a 15 minute drive from our Hemet dispensary is the Western Science Center at 2345 Searl Pkwy. The Western Science Center features dinosaur exhibits, fossils and many other hands-on, kid-friendly activities.

I don’t know if you’ve taken a gander outside your front door lately but between the literacy rate and the powers-that-be not knowing which way is up or down, this world is in dire need of some good old-fashioned, no frills, tell me all the planets in the solar system brand of science. It’s so important, especially for kids and even more especially for high-ass adults who want to tickle their brain a bit while indulging in their medicine instead of binging cartoons and inhaling pretzels.

The Western Science Center has everything you need to really spark that science fire back up in you. Not to mention it’s just a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Feel some fossils, look at some dinosaurs, learn about the ins and outs of electricity or physics. It’s all such fun. Admission is cheap too. $10 for adults, $7 for kids 5-12 and kids 4 and under get in for free.
