El Patron Mexican Grill & Entertainment – Hemet

Right across the street from our Hemet cannabis dispensary is El Patrol, a Mexican restaurant that also hosts DJ and karaoke nights. As a die-hard representative for all things cannabis, I tend to not drink when I go out. I’ve found it’s usually better to get stoned instead. No headache the next morning, less mess.

Well, when the Catalyst gang told me they were going out for karaoke at El Patron I figured I’d hang out, have a burrito and leave the karaoke to the professionals (drunk people). However, we’d just gotten a new sativa in from CAM that I figured I’d try before we went out. Before I knew it, I was up there shaking and jiving, singing every Creed song I could remember. The crowd went wild, I was a celebrity, dare I say a hero.

When the music faded, I wandered outside for a bowl with the gang and then it was time for food. I was served a meal quite above the standards of your run-of-the-mill karaoke bar, and I’m a stickler when it comes to Mexican food. You’re not gonna sneak a gas station burrito in front of me and expect me not to know the difference. I’ll take the Pepsi challenge baby, the food here is great. The atmosphere is a gas and it’s a great choice for a night out in Hemet.
