The beautiful and world famous Pismo Beach is only a mile and a half from Catalyst Cannabis Dispensary in Grover Beach and a great spot for surfing, ATV riding on the sand dunes or just enjoying a California sunset. Now, I don’t care what anyone says, smoking joints on the beach is a bad idea and a waste of good flower.
Unless you happen to be there on some freak of nature miracle day where there’s no wind at all, you’re best off bringing edibles or vapes. Make it a Puffco and some dabs if you’re a true patriot, just don’t bring flower because that’s an amateur hour play and you’ll just end up frustrated and sober. This is one of the best beaches in California. If you’ve never tried surfing, rent yourself a longboard on a day with low swells it’s some of the most fun you’ll ever have. If you’re looking for something low impact bring a boogie board.
It’s a much lower barrier to entry and very fun. Just be sure to bring a wetsuit, all those movies where people are surfing in just their board shorts and bikinis are lying to you. The water is cold. This isn’t Hawaii, but be happy about that because weed isn’t legal in Hawaii and there aren’t dispensaries right next to the ocean.
