Less than half a mile from Catalyst Belmont Shore at 5000 E Ocean Blvd is Monty’s Dog Beach and Bar, a beachside eatery serving delicious food and cocktails with a full playground for your canine companions just outside. It’s a great vibe here they’ve got these nice twinkly lights strung around the palm trees and heat lamps for when it gets cold.
They’ve even got a full customized menu made exclusively for dogs. I mean, they have specially made ice cream made safe for canine consumption. That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard of. Obviously, you’re gonna want to medicate a bit before taking your dogs through the obstacle course and sitting down for a meal but it is the beach.
Contrary to what Hollywood and Instagram models might lead you to believe, smoking joints on the beach is awful nine times out of ten. The wind makes the joint run and smoke all weird, plus I’m pretty sure smoking on the beach is illegal anyway so all the smoke would be a dead giveaway. Instead, try some edibles, tincture or a nice vape cartridge as they are much more discreet options and don’t leave a trail of smoke leading right to you.
