Parker’s Lighthouse near Downtown Long Beach

Parker’s is a waterfront restaurant serving seafood and steaks about a mile from the Catalyst Downtown Long Beach location at 435 Shoreline Village Drive. If you’re in the area, this is the place to be. If you ever wanted to feel like a wayward sailor run aground, drawn to land by the glow of lighthouse only to find that lighthouse serves the only steak you’ve had after months at sea not to mention wine, beer and cocktails you need look no further than Parker’s Lighthouse.

As it happens to be right next to the ocean, which may be a redundant thing to say considering the word lighthouse is in the name, the seafood here is also quite a special treat to be had. It’s the freshest in the area and every bit as good as if you caught it, gut it and cooked it yourself out at sea on a merchant schooner. The only difference here is it comes with liquor on the side instead of scurvy.
